Funeral flowers, planning the service and organising all the many elements involved come at a time when you want to manage those decisions the least. Choosing the flowers may be a more comforting of the tasks but for many, I understand that it can feel easiest to have a single conversation and to hand the task over completely. I am based in Henley and happy to meet at your chosen funeral directors to chat things over and I am available on email or telephone to help

Funeral Flowers Henley

Whilst our interactions choosing the funeral flowers may be short, I still place the utmost care and thought into all of my sympathy flower designs. Choosing the right flowers for you, creating natural shapes and using ingredients that tell stories and share memories of your loved one is key for me to understand. The Just Joey rose (which I named my floristry business after) was my late grandmother’s favourite; so I know only too well, how much the smell and beauty of something so simple, can be meaningful and give warmth to those who knew her

Natural Funeral Flowers

Unlike many modern funeral flower designs that you may see on the high street, I don’t tend to use Gerberas or Carnations in the designs I create. Using seasonal blooms and wherever possible British flowers is key to create a loose style with that wonderful garden-gathered scent

Rambling garden meadow casket top, using natural trailing pieces and garden herbs which when brushed or moved give a calming scent. Circular wreaths can be created in many different sizes with a mix of blooms and of course sympathy flowers and bouquets to send to families. Pretty flower urns and peaceful candles are a lovely inclusion to frame a condolence book for guests at the wake or a memorial where they share their words
